Taqwa high school

The official opening event of Taqwa High School was the 15th of February 2024, at. It was an honour to have Hon Yvette Berry, Minister of Education and Deputy Chief Minister of ACT, as the Chief Guest for this auspicious occasion. The event was attended by High School students, government officials associated with school education programs, and a select group of community members and parents of our High school students. Due to space constraints, we regretfully had to limit attendance to ensure a manageable gathering.

In light of the space challenges, we planned to initiate the construction of a Multi-purpose Hall this year, enhancing our capacity for larger gatherings and supporting various academic and sporting activities.

This event held significant importance for us, as we were seeking approval to introduce Years 9 & 10 starting January 2025. Your prayers for the success of our endeavours to serve you and our community were sincerely appreciated.

Taqwa School High School took pride in its diverse community, fostering a vibrant multicultural ethos aligned with Australia's highest educational standards. Our rigorous curriculum positioned the high school as a beacon of excellence.

We celebrated our distinguished reputation for academic excellence and success in external examinations, showcasing the diverse achievements of our students in sciences, law, commerce, arts, and various professions. Taqwa School students consistently made a positive impact and often emerged as leaders in their respective fields.

Looking ahead, the journey for Taqwa High School, particularly our students, was filled with excitement. With collaborative input from all stakeholders, especially our students, we were confident that the future for Taqwa School would continue to be remarkable.
