  • Our morning begins at 8.30am with a 45 minute voluntary Quran Class

  • Timetabled classes begin at 9.15 am - parents will need to sign their child in at the reception desk if they are late or wish to leave early.

  • If your child is absent from school please contact the front office prior to 10.00am to provide a reason.

  • Eating break: approximately 10.45 am. Please supply your child with either fresh fruit or vegetables.

  • Please provide your child with healthy eating options for both recess and lunch.

  • Processed and packaged foods are high in sodium and saturated/trans fats which can cause dehydration. Healthy options include: fresh fruit and vegetables, yogurt sandwiches and wraps, dips such as hummus and homemade meals. We are not able to heat food at school and do not allow students to share food.

  • Lollies, soft drinks and other sugary foods are not permitted at school unless indicated by the class teacher on special occasions.

  • Please be aware that Taqwa school aims to be a ‘nut free’ environment to support students with allergies.

  • Around 1.00 pm/1.30 pm, the students gather to pray Dhuhr prayer in Jama'h

  • School ends at 3.30 pm and for safety reasons, parents should collect children from the designated pick up zones.

  • Mobile phones are not permitted at school. Please contact the Front Office if you require urgent communication with your child throughout the course of the day.

  • All students need to wear the full school uniform which includes shoes that are appropriate for physical activities and a broad brimmed hat.

  • Please clearly label all of your child’s possessions, including items of clothing, lunch boxes and water bottles.

  • All school fees are due at the beginning of each term unless the whole amount has been paid up front or a direct debit is in place.

  • Please provide any medical plans your child may have to the class teacher before they begin (for example: asthma management).

  • Once your child is enrolled at school, all questions should be directed to your child’s class teachers via email/Seesaw.
